A Camillus woman is scheduled to appear in Sennett Town Court on Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. on a petit larceny charge involving $299.98 in merchandise from Lowe’s.
Monica Dotson, 37, turned herself in on an arrest warrant Nov. 5, 2025, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the case began July 7, 2025, when they responded to the Lowe’s store in Sennett at about 6:52 a.m. The store’s asset protection team reported that merchandise had been stolen July 3.
Investigators identified Dotson as the suspect and obtained a warrant for her arrest, the sheriff’s office said. Deputies said their investigation also linked her to other larceny complaints at Lowe’s stores in neighboring jurisdictions.
Dotson was processed and arraigned, then released on her own recognizance.
