One person is dead and another is in custody after an incident at a Springwater home, according to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Thomas Dougherty said deputies responded to the home Sunday evening.
The death is the subject of a criminal investigation, and authorities have not released details about what led to it or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Dougherty said there is no cause for public alarm.
The Sheriff’s Office is expected to provide additional information at a news conference Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. at its headquarters on Court Street in Geneseo.
