A Lyons man was arrested Tuesday after deputies said he threatened a woman and her dog with a paring knife during a domestic incident.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Thomas Jackson, 37, of William Street, was arrested following an investigation in the town of Lyons.
Deputies said the woman barricaded herself in a bathroom during the incident.
Jackson was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment.
He was taken to the Wayne County Jail for centralized arraignment and is expected to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date, deputies said.
