Mandy Teeter, a Rochester Regional Health executive who oversees systemwide operational projects and is serving as interim president of Unity Hospital, has been named to a national list of health care transformation leaders.
The health system announced Thursday that Teeter was included in Becker's Hospital Review's 2026 list of 34 hospital and health system chief transformation officers to know. Teeter is Rochester Regional's senior vice president of transformation. The system operates hospitals and other services in the Finger Lakes as well as the Rochester and St. Lawrence regions.
Teeter oversees more than 20 projects across the health system. Rochester Regional said she led deployment of an artificial intelligence tool for operating room scheduling and operations across more than 85 operating rooms, creating capacity for about 100 additional surgical cases a month with existing resources. The health system described those figures as operating results; the announcement did not give a separate Finger Lakes total or measure patient outcomes from the tool.
Becker's description also credits the project with increasing prime-time operating room block use by more than 10% and generating about $450,000 in additional monthly revenue. Those are figures supplied in the trade publication's profile, rather than independently audited results in the health system announcement.
Teeter is also responsible for operational coordination of Rochester Regional's $131 million strategic construction portfolio, the health system said. The release did not break that amount down by facility or project.
She became interim president of Unity Hospital in September after serving as its chief operating officer. Her previous positions include chief administrative officer and chief operating officer, and she began her career as a behavioral health therapist.
Richard Davis, Rochester Regional's CEO, credited Teeter with bringing staff together around complex projects and said operational changes must work for both caregivers and patients. Becker's list profiles leaders overseeing changes in health system operations, technology and care delivery; inclusion is recognition by the publication, not a clinical quality rating.
Rochester Regional says it operates nine hospitals, along with primary and specialty practices, rehabilitation, urgent care, laboratory and other services. Its network includes Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic in the Finger Lakes.
