A Waterloo woman was arrested after police said she stole packages from another person and threw them away before egging the victim’s vehicle.
Iraida Holmes-Moses, 65, was arrested around 4 p.m. Sept. 23 following an investigation into an incident that occurred in early August, according to the Waterloo Police Department.
Police allege Holmes-Moses stole three packages belonging to the victim and discarded them in the garbage. She is also accused of throwing eggs at the victim’s vehicle.
Holmes-Moses was charged with third-degree criminal tampering and three counts of petit larceny.
She was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment and later released on her own recognizance.
Police said an order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
