Federal investigators continue working to determine what caused a small plane to crash in Enfield, killing two men, according to WETM.
David Kornreich, 52, and Andrew R. Harrell, 31, were aboard the aircraft when it went down near North Applegate Road on Aug. 30.
Kornreich was pronounced dead at the scene, while Harrell initially survived and was taken to Cayuga Medical Center in critical condition before later dying from his injuries.
Authorities said the aircraft had taken off from Ithaca Tompkins International Airport and a witness reported that it appeared to be experiencing a mechanical problem before the crash.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating and have not determined the cause.
