Three new employees have joined the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office following an oath ceremony at the Ontario County Jail.
The new hires are Correction Officer Johanna Ford, Jail Nurse Tanya Meath, LPN, and Correction Officer Germani Travis, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The three took their oaths surrounded by family members and members of the agency.
Sheriff’s officials said the new employees will support daily operations inside the jail, including maintaining security and providing care for people in custody.
Ford and Travis will serve as correction officers, while Meath will work as a licensed practical nurse.
The Sheriff’s Office welcomed all three to the department and wished them well as they begin their new roles.
