The death of an incarcerated man who was found unresponsive at the Seneca County Correctional Facility on July 13 has been ruled natural, the Seneca County Sheriff's Office said Monday.
The Sheriff's Office identified the man as Edward Timblin and said investigators believe he suffered a heart-related medical event.
The finding followed an investigation involving the Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division, the state Attorney General's Office, the Seneca County Coroner's Office and the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office.
The Sheriff's Office said it responded to the correctional facility after Timblin was found unresponsive.
