An Ithaca woman was charged with felony assault Saturday after police said a victim was struck in the head with a glass bottle during a domestic incident on College Avenue.
Ithaca police said officers responded to the 400 block of College Avenue shortly after midnight July 25 and found a victim who reported being hit with the bottle. The victim was reportedly unconscious at one point and was taken to a local medical center for treatment.
Following an investigation, police arrested Chloe Cho, 21, of Ithaca and charged her with second-degree assault, a Class D felony.
Cho was released on an appearance ticket by Judge Wallace, according to the release. Police did not provide additional information about the victim’s condition or when Cho is due in court.
