Westbound Interstate 86 near Exit 41 in Campbell will close for six hours Sunday while crews work on a bridge, according to the state Department of Transportation. The closure is scheduled from 6 a.m. to noon July 19, and drivers should expect delays along the Steuben County route.
Traffic will leave the highway using the Exit 41 off-ramp and return on the Exit 41 on-ramp, following the posted detour. DOT said the work is weather dependent and may change based on conditions.
Motorists are being asked to slow down and use caution through the work zone. Speeding fines are doubled in work zones, and two or more work-zone speeding convictions can result in a driver's license suspension.
