Lillee's Pad has opened at Savona Village Park as a memorial to Lillee Rae Bronson, according to the Hornell Tribune. The splash pad honors the Campbell-Savona first grader who died in 2022 after fighting bone cancer.
The 1,200-square-foot splash pad at 42 McCoy St. was built with help from GST BOCES students, village officials, local businesses and community partners.
The project also received support from fundraisers and grants, including funding from Harbor Freight Tools for Schools, Corning Inc. and local concrete businesses.
