A Webster woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after deputies said she crashed into two mailboxes and a utility pole in Wayne County.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Anna Ruth Thiel, of Klem Street in Webster, was arrested after a crash in the town of Williamson at about 12:05 a.m. July 3.
Deputies said Thiel was accused of moving from her lane before the crash. Investigators later determined she was operating in an intoxicated condition, according to the release.
Thiel was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.18% or higher, moving from a lane unsafely and possession of an open container.
Deputies said she was taken to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, where a chemical test determined her blood alcohol content was 0.23%.
Thiel was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Williamson Town Court at a later date.
