The Super DIRTcar Series will return to Land of Legends Raceway in Canandaigua on Thursday, July 2, for the Stars and Stripes Spectacular.
The Fourth of July weekend event will feature a 76-lap race paying $6,076 to win, along with CRSA Sprint Cars, fireworks and an America 250 celebration.
Land of Legends will also induct former official John Schrader and former driver Scott Schrader onto its Wall of Fame, according to the series announcement.
The event comes as Mat Williamson trails Alex Yankowski by three points in the series standings. Williamson won last year's Stars and Stripes Spectacular and went on to claim the 2025 series title.
Williamson has two wins at Land of Legends this season and leads the track's points standings. He has won the last three Super DIRTcar Series features at the Canandaigua track and has 13 career wins there.
Mets blank Blue Jays to even series Yankowski will make his sixth start at the half-mile track. The Covington Township, Pennsylvania, driver has two top-five finishes and three top-10 finishes in five starts at Land of Legends, including a runner-up finish in 2024.
Matt Sheppard, a 10-time series champion from Savannah, has moved into third in the series standings after three straight top-five finishes. Sheppard has 96 modified wins at Land of Legends and eight Super DIRTcar Series wins at the track.
Other full-time series drivers who race weekly at Land of Legends include Alex Payne, Jimmy Phelps, Mike Trautschold and Marcus Dinkins. Payne, of Hopewell, has three top-five finishes and four top-10 finishes in four starts at the track this season.
Track regulars expected to challenge include Peter Britten, Justin Haers and Nick Root. Root, of Geneva, earned his first career win at Land of Legends earlier this year and is seeking his first Super DIRTcar Series start.
The race will be available live on DIRTVision, according to the announcement.
