A Lyons man was charged with criminal mischief after deputies said he damaged a wooden board during a neighbor dispute.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said Thorne Dupont, 29, of Queen Street in Lyons, was arrested after an investigation into a disturbance that happened June 25 in the town.
Deputies said Dupont punched a wooden board that was being used to barricade an unused doorway, causing damage to the board.
Dupont was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and released on an appearance ticket, according to the sheriff's office.
He is expected to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
