A Lyons woman was charged after deputies said she was found walking on posted CSX railroad tracks.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said Alaina L. Smith, 32, of Canal Street in Lyons, was arrested around 6 p.m. June 20 during a subject stop in the town of Lyons.
Deputies said Smith was observed walking across CSX railroad tracks south of Geneva Street and Depew Avenue that were posted against trespassing.
Smith was charged with third-degree criminal trespass, according to the sheriff’s office.
She was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
