A Lyons man was arrested after Wayne County deputies investigated a domestic incident in the town of Lyons.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said William M. Turner, 30, of William Street, was arrested June 16.
Deputies allege Turner applied pressure to a woman’s neck during a domestic incident, violating a full stay-away order of protection involving the victim.
Turner was charged with aggravated family offense, criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree criminal contempt, according to the sheriff’s office.
He was taken to the Wayne County Jail to await centralized arraignment and is due to appear in Lyons Town Court at a later date.
