A woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after Seneca County deputies responded to a business in the Town of Tyre.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office said Heather Moore was arrested around 12:03 a.m. June 20 and charged with misdemeanor DWI.
Deputies said the charge stemmed from an incident at a Tyre business where Moore was an involved party. When deputies arrived, they said they saw Moore trying to leave the business in her vehicle.
Moore was taken into custody after a traffic stop and DWI investigation, deputies said. She was transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center, where she refused chemical testing.
Deputies said Moore was turned over to the sheriff’s office Corrections Division and held for Central Arraignment Court.
