Ithaca police are asking for the public’s assistance after a vehicle was reported stolen during an incident late Friday night in the city.
According to the Ithaca Police Department, officers responded to the 100 block of North Cayuga Street at approximately 11:18 p.m. on June 19 for a reported dispute. While investigating, officers learned that one of the individuals involved had their vehicle stolen.
Police are searching for a red 2013 Volvo S60 bearing New York registration LWV8479. Authorities said the vehicle is missing its passenger-side mirror, a feature that may help identify it.
Investigators have not released additional information about the circumstances surrounding the theft or any potential suspects.
