Five members of the Keuka College softball team were recognized for their achievements on the field and in the classroom, earning Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators.
Seniors Olivia Flynn and Grace Eagen, along with Hailey Jasinski, Katie Landers, and Alexis Kopetchny, represented the Wolves on the prestigious list. Flynn collected the honor for the third time in her career, while Jasinski earned the distinction for the second consecutive year. Landers, Kopetchny, and Eagen received the recognition for the first time.
Flynn capped off an outstanding collegiate career by excelling as both a pitcher and hitter. The nursing graduate logged a career-high workload in the circle, earned third-team all-conference honors, and left her mark on the program record book by setting the school career doubles record and finishing fifth all-time in hits.
Jasinski continued to be one of the Wolves’ most productive players, leading the team in several offensive categories. The occupational therapy major earned her third career All-Empire 8 selection after batting .463 with 44 hits, numbers that rank among the best single-season performances in program history.
Landers made a significant impact during her second season with the program, batting .330 and tying for second on the team with 31 hits. The psychology major has also earned multiple appearances on the Empire 8 President’s List.
Kopetchny provided versatility across the lineup, making starts at catcher, third base, and designated player while posting a career-best .303 batting average. The adolescent mathematics education major earned her first Academic All-District honor.
Eagen closed her career with a personal-best 16 RBIs during her senior season. The psychology graduate rounded out the group of Wolves recognized for balancing academic excellence with athletic success.
