A Seneca Falls man was sent to the Seneca County jail Saturday night after police said he stole from a local business and unlawfully entered the property during the incident.
The Seneca Falls Police Department said Steven Irish, 60, of Seneca Falls, was arrested around 7 p.m. May 16 following an investigation into a theft at a local business.
Irish was charged with third-degree burglary, a Class D felony, and petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor.
Police said he was processed at the Seneca Falls Police Department before being transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
Additional details about the alleged theft and the business involved were not released.
