Seneca Falls residents preparing for spring cleanup will have one opportunity next week to dispose of brush and yard debris as the town schedules its annual pickup for Monday, May 18.
Town officials said all debris must be placed at the roadside the night before collection day, warning residents that crews will make only one pass per street with no return trips.
The town also said pickup will be limited to one truckload per household.
Leaves must be placed in paper bags and will not be collected if left in plastic bags or loose piles along the roadside. Branches must be no longer than 4 feet in length and no more than 12 inches in diameter. Officials also asked residents to place branches parallel to the roadway for collection.
Town officials encouraged residents to have materials prepared ahead of time to avoid missing the scheduled pickup.
