A Geneva woman faces a drug possession charge after deputies responded to a disturbance Thursday night at an apartment complex in the town of Geneva.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched to Sunlight Lane around 8 p.m. May 7 for a reported disturbance involving residents at the complex.
Investigators said Rebecca A. Walker, 53, was found to be heavily intoxicated or under the influence of controlled substances and was allegedly causing a disturbance involving other residents, including multiple juveniles.
During the investigation, deputies recovered crack cocaine and drug-related paraphernalia that authorities said belonged to Walker. She was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Walker was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Geneva Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
