The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is launching a weekly open interview process as it looks to fill positions in its jail division.
Officials announced that open interviews for deputy sheriff positions will be held every Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Office, located at 7445 County House Road in Auburn.
The hiring effort is aimed at attracting candidates interested in careers in public safety, with officials emphasizing opportunities for professional development and advancement within the department.
Applicants do not need to schedule an appointment in advance and can attend interviews on a walk-in basis. The department said the process is designed to streamline hiring and make it easier for potential candidates to learn about available roles.
