Plenty of big stat lines and multi-goal outbursts carried Friday’s action across the Wayne-Finger Lakes.
In girls lacrosse, Leah Sheridan erupted for six goals and two assists to lead Canandaigua, while Penn Yan stayed unbeaten with a balanced attack and Waterloo/Mynderse/Romulus saw multiple multi-goal efforts.
On the softball diamond, Waterloo got another strong showing from Ava and Gwen Panek along with Gwen DiIorio in the circle, while Dundee/Bradford used a massive inning and a patient approach at the plate to pile up runs. Wayne also saw key contributions in a doubleheader sweep, highlighted by Sophie Armstrongโs three-hit game and Gianna DiPaulโs power-speed performance.
