Yates County authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a Penn Yan-area woman wanted on a bench warrant tied to a missed court appearance.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office identified the individual as Lauren F. Shaff, 30, who is wanted for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge.
According to investigators, Shaff is described as a white female, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes. Her date of birth is listed as July 10, 1995.
Officials did not release additional details about the underlying charge connected to the warrant but emphasized that failure to appear in court can result in additional legal consequences.
