Seneca Falls police are asking for the public’s help locating a woman wanted on a warrant tied to a missed court appearance involving a drug charge.
The Seneca Falls Police Department identified the individual as Brianna D. Velez, 30, who is wanted for failure to appear in court on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
According to authorities, Velez is also wanted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office. She is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 90 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Officials did not release additional details about the underlying case but emphasized that the warrant stems from her failure to appear in court.
Anyone with information about Velez’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Seneca Falls Police Department at 315-568-4850. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online. Authorities cautioned the public not to attempt to apprehend the individual.
