The Throop Fire Department has selected its leadership team for the coming year following its annual officer elections held Thursday evening.
The department announced that Patrick Burns was elected chief, with Don Alnutt serving as first assistant chief and Lori Bodoh as second assistant chief.
Additional leadership roles include Jack Burns as captain, Jamie Northrup as first lieutenant, and Ryan Namisniak as second lieutenant.
Officials said individuals interested in joining the department can attend weekly informational sessions held Mondays at 7 p.m., where applications are available and prospective members can learn more about opportunities to serve.
