A Seneca Falls resident was arrested early Sunday after deputies investigated a property damage crash in the Town of Junius.
Lamay Gilroy was taken into custody around 3:38 a.m. and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the arrest followed an investigation into the crash, during which Gilroy was also cited for moving from a lane unsafely. Deputies determined Gilroy had a blood alcohol content above 0.18%, more than twice the legal limit.
Gilroy was processed and released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Junius Town Court at a later date.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
