Construction crews are transforming a former newspaper building into two new dining spots set to open this spring, according to The Citizen.
A burger restaurant and a Mexican eatery both plan to move into the old Citizen building on Dill Street. Work was still underway as of March 30.
The owners hope to welcome customers in the coming months, adding fresh food options as redevelopment continues downtown. The project reflects ongoing efforts to bring new life to Auburn’s city center.
