Environmental conservation officers issued tickets in separate incidents in Wayne and Schuyler counties.
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation detailed the cases in a recent enforcement report.
In Wayne County, an investigation found a hunter illegally took multiple deer in the Town of Marion.
Officers said the individual claimed photos of large bucks taken from social media, but one deer was confirmed to have been taken before the hunter obtained a license.
Authorities determined the subject illegally took at least three deer and issued more than a dozen tickets, including four misdemeanors.
In Schuyler County, officers responded to illegal dumping in Sugar Hill State Forest in the Town of Orange.
Investigators found about 16,000 pounds of garbage blocking a roadway after a hauler failed to navigate a hill.
Officials said the hauler returned with the town highway department to remove the waste, and charges are being handled through an administrative order.
