A building fire was reported Saturday at a glass bottling plant in the town of Sennett, according to Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire.
Multiple fire departments and ambulance crews responded to the scene, including units from Sennett, Throop, Auburn, Weedsport and Aurelius.
Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire reported that heavy smoke was visible when crews arrived.
The fire was later confirmed to be at Owens Brockway Glass Container, which is frequently referred to as Owens-Illinois.
Additional responding agencies included Auburn City and Jordan Ambulance.
The fire was later extinguished and most units cleared the scene within a couple hours. A person who works at the plant said no injuries were reported.
