Scoops and student art could soon share the spotlight in Trumansburg, according to The Tompkins Weekly.
Teachers in the Trumansburg Central School District plan a summer showcase at the popular Ice Cream Bar, giving students another public place to display their work. Art teachers outlined the idea during a March 3 school board meeting while describing the district’s art programs.
Hundreds of students take art classes across the district. The proposed event would add to existing showcases, including the district’s annual Art and STEAM exhibit and a display during the Trumansburg Fair.
