New book tells Cornell title story

Cornell’s long-awaited lacrosse championship run will soon be captured in a new book chronicling the team’s historic season, according to The Tompkins Weekly.

The Long Red Line: Cornell Lacrosse and the Forty-Eight-Year Quest for Glory by veteran writer Christian Swezey recounts the program’s 2025 NCAA men’s lacrosse title, ending a 48-year championship drought.

The book details the team’s journey from missing the NCAA tournament the previous year to winning the national title. It also highlights personal stories from players and the program’s history. The book will be released May 15 in print and digital formats.
