Hundreds of supporters packed the Harbor Hotel in Watkins Glen Saturday for a gala supporting families facing pediatric cancer, according to WENY.
T-Burg Takes on Pediatric Cancer hosted its 15th annual fundraiser, drawing a record turnout. The organization uses donations to help families cover the cost of treatment for children battling cancer.
Organizers say they deliver $2,500 checks directly to families referred by hospitals in Rochester, Syracuse, and Golisano. The group also announced a $25,000 donation from the Harbor Hotel’s Fire and Ice fundraiser earlier this year.
