NYSEG, RG&E launch redesigned customer dashboard

NYSEG and Rochester Gas and Electric have launched a redesigned online account dashboard aimed at helping customers better understand their energy bills.

The new “My Account” dashboard is available on computers, tablets and other smart devices and focuses on simplifying how billing information is displayed.


The redesign introduces color-coded billing statuses that show whether a bill is due, past due, paid or at risk of service disconnection. The visual system is intended to help customers quickly recognize their account status.

The updated layout also highlights key billing details with larger text and more prominent placement on the page.

A new “Take Action” section allows customers to view current energy use and costs, compare them with previous periods and explore payment options. The dashboard also connects users to tools that track energy use and provide information about rates and pricing.

The companies said the redesign is part of a broader proposal to invest nearly $1 billion over five years to improve customer service, including upgrades to call centers, billing systems and digital tools.
