DWI arrest follows Palmyra traffic stop

A traffic stop on East Main Street in Palmyra led to a driving while intoxicated arrest Wednesday evening.

Jarred E. Larock, of Trolley Road in Palmyra, was taken into custody after an officer observed signs of intoxication during the stop.

An officer conducted the stop around 7:23 p.m. on March 4 after observing a traffic violation.

During the investigation, Larock submitted to a chemical breath test that showed a blood alcohol content of 0.08%.

Police charged Larock with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or higher.

He was also charged with having an open alcoholic container in a motor vehicle and no plate lamps.

Larock was processed by the Palmyra Police Department and released with appearance tickets. He is scheduled to appear in Village of Palmyra Court at a later date.
