Deputies investigated at the scene and determined Sawyer was intoxicated.

Sawyer was charged with failure to maintain lane, possession of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.18% or higher.

Deputies transported Sawyer to the Wayne County Jail, where he was processed and released on traffic tickets.

He is scheduled to appear in Ontario Town Court on March 24 at 1 p.m.
