IRAN WAR: Trump warns more US deaths likely

Three U.S. service members have died in the escalating conflict with Iran, and President Donald Trump says more could follow, according to USA TODAY.

U.S. Central Command confirmed the deaths and said five others suffered serious injuries as American and Israeli forces struck more than 1,000 targets in Iran under “Operation Epic Fury.” Trump said the campaign could last four weeks or less and acknowledged additional combat losses may come.

Iran reports more than 200 deaths, including children, though independent verification remains limited. A Reuters/Ipsos poll shows only about one in four Americans approve of the strikes. Oil prices have surged, airlines have halted flights across the Middle East, and global markets have stumbled as fears of wider war grow.
