Deputies said they were dispatched to a residence at 10:38 a.m. for a domestic incident. The victim told investigators that Murphy made unwanted physical contact while making a threatening statement, causing her to fear for her safety.

Authorities charged Murphy with third-degree menacing, a Class B misdemeanor.

Murphy was arraigned at centralized arraignment court, where a full stay-away order of protection was issued. He was released and is scheduled to appear in Town of Sennett Court on March 11 at 5 p.m.
