Two hurt after Rt 104 crash in Williamson

A two-car crash shut down part of State Route 104 in Williamson on Sunday evening.

Genevieve Vanderbroek of Sodus and Malikya Russell of Rochester were involved in the collision, which happened around 6:06 p.m., according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.


Deputies responded to reports of a crash with minor injuries and found both vehicles damaged in the roadway.

Russell and her passenger, Tracy Turner of Rochester, were taken to Rochester General Hospital for evaluation of minor injuries. Officials reported no other serious injuries.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the cause of the crash.

Williamson Fire Rescue, East Williamson Fire Rescue, Williamson Ambulance, Lakeside Towing and Sullivans Towing assisted at the scene.
