Investigators said the case began on Aug. 3 at 4:54 a.m., when a deputy saw Allen commit a vehicle and traffic law violation in Williamson.

During that stop, deputies found Allen in possession of drug paraphernalia. A search of the vehicle uncovered a substance believed to be crack cocaine.

After laboratory testing confirmed the substance, deputies located Allen during the February traffic stop and took him into custody without incident.

Deputies charged Allen with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree – Cocaine.

Authorities transported Allen to the Wayne County Jail, where he remained held pending arraignment.
