HS BASKETBALL REPORT: Wayne, Geneva boys finish as Finger Lakes East co-champions; Lyons boys capture Wayne County title

On the second-to-last night of the high school basketball regular season, 12 Wayne-Finger Lakes games were played. The Wayne boys defeated Palmyra Macedon to extend their win streak to 13 and clinch a share of the Finger Lakes East title with Geneva after both teams finished 13-1 in league play, with their only losses coming against each other. Meanwhile, the Lyons boys secured the Wayne County title by cruising past Red Creek, finishing 13-1 in league play, one game ahead of second-place East Rochester.
