Emerging leaders from across Ontario County stepped into the spotlight during a high-energy conference day designed to push them beyond their comfort zones.
Leadership Ontario’s Cohort 4 gathered at the Ontario County Safety Training Facility for “Day 7: Leaders Showcase,” a milestone event focused on vulnerability, professional vision, and strengthening regional leadership ties.
Organizers described the showcase as a cornerstone of the Leadership Ontario experience. Participants presented personal and professional leadership goals, bridging their individual careers with their shared role as community stewards.
Leadership Development Director Kristen Fragnoli led a workshop on imposter syndrome and resiliency. She shared strategies to help participants manage their “internal critic” and build the mental stamina needed for high-impact leadership.
“The Leaders’ Showcase marks the half-way point of the program and is an opportunity for the leaders in the program to share their professional background, skills and goals; it is a day when deep connections are nurtured and collaborative partnerships are born,” said Fragnoli. “Cohort 4 is an impressive group representing government, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, banking and other private companies from around Ontario County.”

The day also featured a collaborative “Cohort 4 Playlist,” with members contributing songs that reflected their personalities and backgrounds. Organizers closed the event with a ceremonial toast of non-alcoholic sparkling cider to celebrate progress and leadership goals.
As Cohort 4 moves into the second half of the program, Leadership Ontario plans to launch applications for Cohort 5 on March 1. The program encourages individuals who live or work in Ontario County and want to expand their influence and connect with local decision-makers to apply.
Leadership Ontario describes itself as a leadership development program that identifies, educates, and connects current and emerging leaders to strengthen the Ontario County community.
