Police found a mix of meth, crack, and fentanyl during a July traffic stop in Auburn, leading to a five-year prison sentence, according to The Citizen. Officers stopped a car tied to a larceny investigation and uncovered nearly 60 grams of drugs and packaging linked to sales.
Authorities later identified the defendant as Beth L. Geiger, 45, of Auburn. Thomas Leone sentenced her in Cayuga County Court on a felony drug possession charge. She was on probation at the time of her arrest.
The court ordered two years of supervision after prison, citing substance dependence. A second person arrested in the car still faces an open case.
