Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan recognized retiring supervisors from Ontario and Seneca counties with official proclamations honoring their service in local government.
Gallahan presented the recognitions to members of the Ontario County Board of Supervisors and the Seneca County Board of Supervisors who concluded their terms at the end of last year.
“Having served on the Ontario County Board of Supervisors myself, I know firsthand the responsibility that comes with this role,” Gallahan said. “These supervisors were on the front lines of local government, balancing budgets, listening to their constituents and making decisions that directly affected their communities. Their service has strengthened county government and left a lasting impact on the people they represented.”

In Ontario County, Gallahan honored Board Chairman Jared J. Simpson of the Town of Canandaigua, along with Supervisors Todd Campbell of West Bloomfield, Daniel Q. Marshall of South Bristol, Daryl G. Marshall of Richmond, David W. Phillips of Manchester, John L. Pruett of the City of Geneva, Frederick J. Stresing of Bristol, Andrew R. Wickham of Seneca, and Christopher R. Vastola of Canadice.
In Seneca County, proclamations were presented to Supervisor Mike Rhinehart of Seneca Falls and Supervisor Don Trout of Waterloo.
Gallahan represents the 131st Assembly District, which includes portions of Ontario, Seneca, Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Broome, and Chenango counties.
