Shoppers in Victor will soon lose a GameStop as the retailer moves forward with another round of nationwide closures, according to News10NBC.
GameStop lists its Commerce Drive location in Victor as closed with no reopening date. The store appears among at least 471 locations nationwide marked as shut on the company’s website.
The Victor closure is part of a broader pullback that also affects stores in Webster and at Eastridge Plaza in Irondequoit. GameStop previously told federal regulators it planned to close a significant number of locations during the current fiscal year.
The company has not announced an exact closing date or commented on local impacts.
