Lyons woman arrested after school trespass

Deputies arrested a woman in Lyons after investigators say she entered school property despite a court order barring her from the grounds.

Terri Lagrand, 45, of Geneva Street in the Town of Lyons, was arrested following an investigation at the Lyons Central School District, according to the Wayne County Office of the Sheriff.

Deputies allege Lagrand entered district property on Jan. 8 knowing she had been trespassed from the property by a Wayne County court order. The sheriff’s office said the investigation was handled by Deputies Radka and Peterson.

Lagrand was charged with criminal trespass in the third degree and criminal contempt in the second degree. Deputies released her on an appearance ticket, and she is scheduled to appear in Town of Lyons Court at a later date to answer the charges, the sheriff’s office said.
