A popular Afro-fusion takeout spot just leveled up with more space and a bigger menu, according to Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
Yaayah’s Kitchen opened a new location Dec. 27 at 67 E. Main St. in Victor, moving a few doors from its original home. Owner Philomena Nyarko says the larger kitchen allows her to add new West African dishes while keeping prices steady.
Fan favorites like jollof rice remain, with new items including peanut soup, plantain chips, and fresh fish stew. Nyarko says slow growth lets her focus on food, health, and building lasting connections with customers.
