A former ice cream stand at a high-traffic Finger Lakes crossroads just flipped to coffee, according to Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
Brewed Awakening opened Jan. 7 at Toomey’s Corners in East Bloomfield, replacing Shiver’s Shakes & Cones. The grab-and-go shop sits near Routes 5 and 20, drawing commuters and travelers headed to Bristol Mountain and Canandaigua Lake.
The shop serves beans from Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters and baked goods from a Victor-based supplier. Online ordering is coming, with possible menu expansion later.
