Chris Valdina, Cayuga County’s chief assistant district attorney, is running for county court judge, according to The Citizen.
Valdina is seeking Republican and Conservative endorsements to replace Judge Thomas Leone, who’s retiring after nearly 20 years. A career prosecutor with over 50 jury trials and 100 appellate wins, Valdina says he’ll bring fairness and experience to the bench.
He’s the first to announce for the open seat and pledges to support local courts while ensuring professionalism in every case.
